ToneoFirst is one of the first French neo-banks.
The PAYCOM brand, now a subsidiary of BD Multimedia, launched a payment solution in the form of a prepaid card: ToneoFirst in 2010.
Now known as Mastercard® by ToneoFirst, this card is available without a bank account and without commitment. It can be used to make payments and withdraw money from the entire Mastercard® network worldwide!
Today, ToneoFirst is modernizing by offering a banking app where managing accounts becomes simpler and more accessible.
BD Multimedia
As a true player in the banking sector, BD Multimedia is now positioned as a payment institution. With its approval from the Prudential Control and Resolution Authority (ACPR), this designation is legitimate and requires it to comply with the same regulatory obligations as other banking and credit institutions.
Founded in 1986, BD Multimedia, a public limited company with a capital of €4,552,076, quickly became a major player in the telematics publishing sector (Minitel, Audiotel, and the Internet). In the early 2000s, the company continued its development as an IT services company (Apogéa) serving SMEs/SMIs and the telecommunications sector. With its experience in telecoms and value-added services, the micropayment solution StarPass was created in 2007.
The company went public on the Marché Libre on May 6, 1997.
Today, the Fintech group specializes in various Web 3.0 topics such as NFTs and cryptocurrency, thanks to its PSAN label obtained in 2023.
